Objectives of the meeting

• Creating social and economic value, and vitalizing the fusion industry ecosystem through collaboration between researchers and private partners

• Promoting innovation and growth in the industry by utilizing fusion and plasma technologies

• Creating opportunities for fusion industry suppliers and innovators to identify new partnerships and customers

• Offer DIII-D as an ecosystem to advance fusion energy

• Provide useful technical talks on US Fusion Program and Landscape

Main Focus Points

• Introduction to the current status of domestic and international research on fusion energy and the latest technology trends

• How to activate the fusion industry ecosystem through the public-private partnership  

• Sharing of information on current challenges in the fusion industry, and discussing possible collaboration plans with each other  

• Technical presentations, lightning talks, and poster sessions showcasing companies, products, and partnership prospects

• Meeting potential customers and other fusion suppliers  

• Opportunities to inform the DIII-D management on your needs from DIII-D for fusion industry developments

• Technical/Lightning Talk Notification: Aug 30, 2025​

• Participation will be most effective in person, but some sessions will be available online   

• If you are an international participant, please let us know ASAP your potential participation, so that we can arrange security badges for the visit onsite.
